Yes I do south beach and a little excercise is always good. Try walking at first just to get things moving and then after that you can add a little cardio to boost the results. You will loose weight with out excercise the first two weeks of the diet but most of that is water weight and you will not tone your body with out it. South beach works in 3 stages. The first is for the first two weeks with virtually no carbs after that there is stage two. On stage two you start to add carbs back in while still loosing weight. Then there is stage three and stage three is maintenance. Stage three is where you can stay your whole life and live healthy eating the proper foods and if you do happen to gain a few pounds over the holidays or on vacation you can always jump start yourself by going back to stage one for 2 weeks. Its a great diet and very easy... but yes... add some excercise in there to see quicker results.
